Alejandro Otero

Alejandro Otero (1921–1990) was a Venezuelan painter and sculptor, and one of those who introduced geometric abstraction and kinetic art in Latin America. His investigation of color, line, and rhythm — best known through his «Coloritmos» — pushed painting toward pure structure and movement. His graphic work carries that same visual economy into the print.
