José Antonio Araujo

José Antonio Araujo was born in Caracas in 1968, where he lives and works. He makes assemblages of wood, often reclaimed, combined with metals and other materials. His longest series is the Meninas, figures he reinterprets with present-day clothing, hairstyles and accessories.
