The story
The mountain occupies the centre of the canvas and stands out against a blue sky with white clouds. The slopes alternate greens of different temper with violet blues in the folds of shadow, and the ridge line descends to the right in a succession of hills; on the hill to the left, very small, an antenna can be made out.
At the foot of the mountain, across the centre of the canvas, a band of city appears: a continuous mass of white multi-storey buildings, painted one by one. In front of it, a dense stand of trees closes the view, and in the foreground a green meadow stretches out.
The warm color comes from the flowering trees in the right half: a clearly visible flamboyant in orange flower, others smaller beside it and a few patches of pink blossom. The title names the vantage point: El Ávila, the mountain that closes Caracas to the north, seen from Valle Arriba. It is signed and dated 2005.

We have not been able to document her career through public sources. Of the work held in the collection one can say what is visible: a 2005 oil portraying El Ávila seen from Valle Arriba, with the band of Caracas buildings at its foot painted one by one and a stand of flowering trees in the foreground.
