The story

From a coil of dark metal wound in a spiral rises a sheaf of very fine threads that opens upward and curves to the right, like a bent branch.

The threads fold at sharp angles into triangles and points, and many end in a small ball. Almost everything is line: the piece takes up a great deal of space and weighs very little to the eye.

Why this work?

This untitled sculpture by Nadia Benatar is an iron-wire sculpture measuring 64 × 42 × 8 cm: a sheaf of very fine threads that rises from a dark spiral and opens into triangles and points finished in small balls. A unique piece, selected by Pablo Vaca for EL ART DEALER for its lightness.

In your space

It calls for a plain, pale wall or background against which the lines stand out: an entryway or a study.
