The story
The female torso appears as a fragment: cut at the shoulders and at the thighs, without head, without arms and without anatomical detail. What remains is the volume — belly, hip and one breast — resolved in continuous curves, with a cleft running down the centre of the lower part.
A mottled green patina covers the bronze in an uneven tone, between moss green and black, with points of shine where the surface is more polished. The whole reads as found stone before it reads as cast metal.
The piece rests on a dark rectangular base that lifts it off the table. It is a small bronze — 20 × 17 × 10 cm — from an edition of 10, numbered 3/10.
Why this work?
This untitled work by Argenis Díaz is a bronze sculpture measuring 20 × 17 × 10 cm: a female torso treated as a fragment — no head, no arms, cut at the thighs — resolved in continuous curves, with a mottled green patina and a dark rectangular base. A bronze from an edition of 10, numbered 3/10. It was selected by Pablo Vaca for EL ART DEALER because it reads as found stone before it reads as cast bronze.
In your space
Its small scale asks for proximity: a desk, a shelf or an entry console, best with side light to reveal the mottling of the patina.

Of the piece held in the collection one can say what is visible: a small bronze, edition 3/10, that treats the female torso as a fragment — no head, no arms, cut at the thighs — resolved in continuous curves and covered by a mottled green patina.
