The story

Elongated leaves, branches and small round fruits float on a blue-green ground that darkens toward the bottom. There are turquoise leaves, green ones, brown ones veined with orange and others almost white, and several gather into branches that cross the canvas.

Among them appear white patches with irregular edges and a few pale circles, like drops or bubbles. The signature «M. Miliani», with the date 2013, is at the bottom, left of centre.

Why this work?

«Hojas de guayamuri» (2013), by Marcos Miliani, is an oil on canvas measuring 86 × 80 cm: leaves, branches and small fruits floating on a blue-green ground, with white patches and pale circles. A unique work, signed and dated, selected by Pablo Vaca for EL ART DEALER for its deep color.

In your space

A deep blue-green, almost square: it works in a dining room or a study with warm light.
