"La grúa" in a room
Room view — approximate scale on a 3.2 m wall

The story

A black-and-white photograph composes an interior: a nude woman lying against a wall, her raised legs resting on it, and at the right a window through which two construction cranes show against a cloudy sky. On the wall, a metal plate with two outlets reads «STANDPIPE».

In front, on a counter with a red edge, stand seven glass jars with lids; inside, miniature objects: some in color (a dark red car, a turquoise scooter, two red mugs) and others in shades of grey, such as several buildings. The signature is at the lower left.

Why this work?

«La grúa» (2013), by Dalia Ferreira, is a manipulated photograph measuring 66 × 112 cm: a black-and-white interior with a reclining nude woman, a window with two cranes and seven glass jars holding miniature objects. A unique piece, selected by Pablo Vaca for EL ART DEALER for its urban narrative.

In your space

A contemporary black-and-white image: it works in an office, a loft or a wide hallway.
