The story

A giant chocolate biscuit, with a ridged edge and the relief pattern of factory biscuits — squares and diamonds crossed by an X, dashes, a heart — carries in its centre, inside an oval, the word «ART».

The biscuit stands on a glossy white stem that widens at the foot like a spilled drop. On the base is the signature «Polito16».

Gian Pablo Polito, who signs «Polito», was born in Caracas in 1971 and lives and works in Florida. For years he was a graphic designer in advertising, and today he makes sculpture, mostly in resin, about childhood, pleasure and play, in dialogue with Pop art.
