The story

A man in a long grey coat and a black hat walks to the right in the rain, sheltered by a blue umbrella. The drops are slanting white strokes, falling mostly across the centre and right of the canvas.

The background is a mass of reds, oranges, yellows and pinks, without buildings or streets: the man walks on an undulating red ground. The signature «A MARTINEZ» and, beneath it, the date 2010 are at the lower left.
