The story

A nude female figure, long-bodied with a small featureless head, stands with her knees together on a small capital. Below, a long, thin column runs down to a round base.

The figure takes up a little under half the height; the rest is column and base. The patina is dark green, with lighter areas where the surface stands proud.

Why this work?

This untitled sculpture by Carlos Prada is a bronze measuring 37.5 × 22 × 7 cm (dimensions to be confirmed), edition 3/9: an elongated female figure with a green patina, standing on a thin column with a round base. Selected by Pablo Vaca for EL ART DEALER for its verticality.
